It is introducing digital assets in some volume. Definitely, for some time the bear market of 2018 has suffocated investors interest in the cryptocurrency world. Conversely, this hasn’t stopped the world’s big names to enter the digital currency world.

As per the reports published by Malta Blockchain Summit, the French professional football is ready to issue its own cryptocurrency. Also, the feasible date to launch its tokens will be in the spring of 2019. The tokens will give fans an opportunity to vote in favor of some decisions such as jersey’s color, music played in the stadium, opponents in friendly matches and alike decisions.

Marc Armstrong who is PSG’s main association officials said, “Paris Saint-Germain is determined to leverage the opportunities that cryptocurrency can provide. This revolutionary technology will have an important impact on the club’s overall business strategy and the way we engage with our fan base.”

With the proclamation, Paris Saint-Germain has become the latest from the sporting franchisees to embrace cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology.

In the meantime, various other big clubs from U.K premier league such as Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, and Leicester City have freshly agreed on a deal. This is with the online investment firm eToro to grant bitcoin as sponsorship payment. Eventually the Italian football club Rimini FC 1921 has become the first cryptocurrency bought the team.

Cryptocurrency is not only attracting football clubs but also enticing different sporting giants. The world’s best-known baseball league, MLB, has introduced its exclusive collectible trading game. The concept is based on the Ethereum blockchain. This initiative is an attempt to attract younger generation people who are interested in the sport over and over.
