Binance now confirmed that Trust Wallet By Binance Adds Supports For XRP.
Binance supports a total number of 17 digital currencies, which gives Coinbase Wallet much competition. To remain in the league of contenders, a dApp browser compatible with the ERC-20 token has been included in Trust Wallet.
In addition to adding support for XRP, Binance also has the goal of making the purchase of virtual currencies more convenient, and therefore has incorporated a feature for credit card payments.
The exchange made this stride in the wake of partnering together with Simplex, which is a payment processor. However, there are not many wallets that provide credit card support, this initiative makes Trust Wallet one of them. No mention of fees or if there is a specific card that must be utilized was made by the exchange in its announcement.
“We want to increase access to crypto and decentralized applications for all users. Adding credit card payments is one piece to furthering cryptocurrency adoption and realizing our larger vision in helping to bring the freedom of money, and we will continue to integrate more blockchains and feature to Trust.”
-Viktor Radchenko, Trust Wallet founder, said
Binance planned for its decentralized exchange to go live in the second quarter of the current year. Also, the Trust Wallet will integrate with it. The intention is to make it the native wallet for Binance DEX. Also, this will provide clients with the ability to make exchanges while holding digital currencies.
There are big plans ahead for Trust Wallet, including the addition of more digital currencies, and integration for added hardware wallets, which are considered to be a more secure way to store virtual assets.
