Roman Schnider, co-creator of PricewaterhouseCoopers Switzerland’s blockchain initiative, is to supersede Eelco Fiole as Chief Financial Officer. Tezos Foundation recruits former PwC Blockchain Expert as CFO.
About six months after the investment executive and adjunct professor of financial ethics, Fiole filled the position. Which will be sometime in summer 2019.
Tezos President, Ryan Jesperson, called the time Fiole was hired as a period of executive expansion, and, “an important step forward by strengthening its internal expertise and capabilities.”
Before joining Tezos, Fiole spent more than twenty years in the financial services industry. This includes co-founding Alpha Governance Partners, an international risk-governance focused fiduciary services firm.
“We want to thank Eelco for his contribution to the development of the Foundation and wish him all the best,” Jesperson said.
Schnider became familiar with Tezos protocol in July 2018, while the firm hired him to conduct an external audit. Tezos Foundation recruits former PwC Blockchain Expert as CFO.

Tezos currently sits at 19 in token rank on CoinMarketCap, and has a market cap of $812,826,137.
