Liechtenstein Cryptoassets Exchange (LCX) took over the tokenization of a movie fund worth $25 million is being taken on by . LCX is the blockchain bank for security tokens and crypto-assets. The ambitious project will be in collaboration with Dr. Wesley Snipes, the American megastar and acclaimed film producer. A security token offering that is fully compliant with laws will be offered, as per a media report, by the partners LCX and Wesley Snipes.
Hollywood actor Wesley Snipes to introduce tokenized movie fund worth $25 million. Dr.Snipes and Maandi House, his production studio, will produce films and television series that the tokenized ‘Daywalker Movie Fund’ (DMF) worth $25 million, will be able to further invest in.
A share in the fund’s production profit will be offered by the DMF Token to investors. They will also be treated to additional perks such as being invited to movie premieres. Reinvesting all the generated profits in the DMF Token will augment its long-term value.
An investment committee of fund managers will manage DMF along with Dr Snipes.
The introduction of an STO will help to lower the barriers to entry for retail and institutional investors. It will also facilitate movie fans to make their investment jointly with well known Hollywood producers.
They aim to launch the STO through the blockchain infrastructure of LCX based in Liechtenstein.
The blockchain platform of LCX will manage identity verification for all potential investors alongside hosting the STO. The tokenized fund model, as described by Dr. Snipes, will empower movie fans to become co-producers of upcoming feature films.
